NUMBER CONFIRM PAGE

OK, it says "confirm!" in the number I wantn so I clicked on itm==,. what's that about? well, there's a couple of things that could have happened...

• if there's a in the name box, it's taken since 1997. don't ask for these numbers. ever again.
• if there's a in the name box, it's taken for sometimes 11 races ago, and forever. no snaking!
• if there's a in the name box, it's taken at least until, well, near forever. sorry.
• or basically, if there's a name in the name box you've got some brass ones to even challenge the list. a lot of people have had their DB RaceDay numbers for a long, long time. probably way longer than you've raced in it. people take there numbers seriously. if you've got a really, really, yes really good story about why you should have a number, e-mail it. it's probbly a longshot, but will be read. or, better yet, just put it in the tale textbox on the signup page.
• you tried to snake someone else's number. or you inadvertantly snaked by never looking before you submitted. mom always said, don't be submitting until you've at least looked. do not make this mistake again by checking years VIII, IX, X, znd XI, or hell, even the Giant List itself once...
• the ListMaster thinks you're not whom you represent yourself as who you are. this is not a form to be abused.
• you didn't check your sizing in all the excitement of typing in a number and have been defaulted to size S, and the info last year's (with the same racer's name) size changed
• you don't understand the concept of "number" and think that equations, your name, or other silly stuff that doesn't fly as a number, or having a numerical equivalent, passes as a "number". additional tags/prints/whatever can be had for the going rate of a 4-pak of Guinness per, at the printers' discretion, with way more formal pre-planning than provided by the form. please e-mail should there be something like that...
