I've been watching 3 kinds of national news a night (well, during the week...), just like tonight, and keep hearing about folks ..uh-oh -- presently!.. NBC 02/06 @16 minutes in... so a large percentage of black and hispanic kids needn't be smart? wuuuh? Well, there you go, I wouldn't need to get as many kids educated? Work as hard?? Well, absolutely not, that's not why. (no matter the solid logic with heavy ethical distubings NBC provides) Where I was going with that--was to how the news keeps talking about "not having enough math and science teachers" (well, and the technology-related jobs not having enough workers) and the unemployment, which my near year's worth of break from, is back with a vengeance... And all the while knowing you could be a math and/or science teacher, a skilled tecnology worker, or at least NOT unemployed! when you see something like this crawling through the "send 10, get no response" non-wilds of craigslist, you have a little false hope and wonder of "that's where it all falls into place!" and maybe get a "thank you your résumé" where they don't bother to accent their aigu's while asking you to pay attention to detail.
